Batik Painting for fun

Okay, never did batik painting before. So we bought this kit and tried. Darling princess got a wee bit too excited and her paints smudged and went over the wax relief. Hmmm... I'm going to try to salvage the smudges later tomorrow AFTER she finishes the painting, just in case there's more saving to be done. It looks so far so good though, don't you think?

Canvas Shoe Painting

We did a session on painting on white canvas shoes, turn out really well. The shoes shown are drawn and painted by my 8-year old princess. We'll be offering this canvas shoe painting class soon. Shoes designs available are the mary jane for girls and velcro tabs sneakers for boys. Do drop us an sms or email if you are interested. Adults are welcome too!

Henna, flowers & such

It's the school holidays so nails polish, henna designs etc are allowed. The princess love being painted, be it on the nails or hands so we did some henna on her hands. We forgot to take pictures of the first two rounds, finally remembered this time. 

Very simple ones lah. Hmmm.... Thinking of offering henna drawing at the next MAAD. What do you think?

New Collection of Genuine Leather Accessories & Jewellery!

I have been tied up with the kids'exam preparations since October and now with their holiday activities. Fortunately all the tutoring by me were effective and their results improved, so my slogging and insomnia were not for nothing. : )


Ok, back to the new leather collection. The kids have been helping with the cutting, crafting, packing and selling at bazaars, giving me some time to come up with this new collection. It's not complete though as I will be adding to the designs as we craft them. Right, here's introducing my latest leather jewellery designs.

Handcrafted Leather Rose Adjustable Rings  SGD15 each

Made of Genuine Leather, set on an Antique Brass Adjustable Ring. Roses measure approximately 26 to 30mm across in diameter, depending on the thickness of the leather. Roses are cut, rolled and attached to the ring. As these are handmade, roses may differ. While leather stocks last. I have more colours available.
